How much does a wedding videographer cost in Dallas?
My packages range from $2,500 to $3,500 depending on coverage hours and deliverables. No hidden fees, no surprise charges. You can see the full breakdown on my
pricing page.
What's included in every package?
Every couple gets a 6–8 minute cinematic highlight film, a 60-second social teaser, professional color grading, two camera setup, lighting, professional audio recording, licensed music, and online delivery. The difference between packages comes down to hours, add-ons, and whether you want a second shooter.
What's your filming style?
Cinematic documentary. I keep things natural and personable — I might give you a small prompt or crack a joke to loosen you up, but nothing stiff or over-directed. Couples tell me I made them feel comfortable and they barely noticed the camera. That's the goal.
Do you work with a second shooter?
I fly solo on most weddings — it keeps the energy calm and the footage consistent. The Complete Day package includes a second shooter for dual-angle ceremony coverage and more ground covered during prep.
How long until we get our film?
12–16 weeks is standard. I take my time in the edit because your film deserves it. Your social teaser comes first — usually within 2–3 weeks. If you need everything faster, rush edit is available for $500 (4–6 week turnaround).
Do you travel for weddings?
Travel within one hour of downtown Dallas is included at no extra cost. Beyond that, I'll put together a custom travel quote — I keep it simple and fair. I'm available wherever your story takes you.
How does payment work?
A 30% retainer locks in your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding. I accept Zelle, Venmo, or cash — no credit card fees, no payment portals. Simple.
Can we customize a package?
Absolutely. The packages are a starting point. Want to swap something out or add on? Just tell me what you need and I'll put together something that fits your day.
When should we book our videographer?
As early as possible. I only take a limited number of weddings per year so I can give each one the attention it deserves. Fall and spring dates in Texas go fast — don't sleep on it.
Do you coordinate with our photographer?
Always. I review the timeline beforehand and coordinate with your photo team on the day so nothing falls through the cracks. We've done this enough times to know how to stay out of each other's way and make sure you get the best of both.
What equipment do you use?
Professional cinema cameras, two camera setup, wireless audio, drone, and professional lighting. Everything is shot in cinematic 4K. I bring backups for everything — no single points of failure on your wedding day.
What happens on the wedding day?
I show up early, meet with the photo team, then come find you and your partner. I'll introduce myself, crack a joke, make sure you're comfortable with me around. From there I capture everything from prep through send-off — the first look nerves, the ugly-cry toasts, the dance floor chaos. I'm present but never in the way.
